Let’s Begin
Sam’s yoga journey began as a child attending classes with his father, planting a seed that blossomed decades later. After struggling with emotions, pain, and blindness, Sam found peace at BYB in 2022 through a Vinyasa class. This ignited his passion for yoga, which has become a core part of his daily life, fostering love and kindness both on and off the mat. In his free time, Sam enjoys cooking, rock climbing, hiking, music, Star Wars, and spending time with his two cats, with plans to add a puppy or two to the family soon.

Our Barre class is a 60-minute full-body workout that combines pilates, yoga, strength conditioning, and ballet-inspired moves. A challenging workout, Barre utilizes the ballet barre as well as other equipment such as hand weights, resistance bands, balls, sliders, and blocks. The goal is to fatigue each muscle group and improve endurance and cardiovascular health. The room is heated to about 90 degrees.

Hilary fell in love with yoga during a stressful season of life—it became her sanctuary and sparked a lifelong journey inward. Hilary teaches to help others reconnect with themselves. She want students to feel empowered, seen, and at home in their bodies.
Hilary's class vibe in three words: Strong. Silly. Embodied.
You can expect energizing flows, creative sequencing, mindful cues, and playlists that match the vibe. Outside the studio, Hilary loves to travel, sing karaoke, and play in the mountains with her family of seven.

Studio Etiquette
-
If you are feeling any cold symptoms, please stay home. If you are coughing, sneezing or blowing your nose excessively at the studio, you may be asked to leave.
-
Check in with the front desk before placing your items down.
Please remove your shoes and store them neatly outside the room as you enter.
Leave bags and personal belongings in changing area or in the cubbies outside the room. Turn your phones on "do not disturb."
There are absolutely no cell phones or mobile devices permitted in the practice room.
If you have a smart watch, make sure to turn it on any mode that prevents it from making sounds or flashing.
Arrive early to class. Classes start and end on time. Please be on your mat with everything you need two minutes prior to the teacher enter the room. The doors are locked right at the start of class.
Please be scent-free: no perfumes, colognes, or heavily-scented lotions.
Come to class hydrated. Drink sparingly as you need during class. Pouring water over your head might feel good at the time, but it won’t help you learn to keep your peace in the room.
-
For yoga classes, place your mat ⅔ over the yellow line toward the front mirror. Be sure to stagger yourself so you’re not right in front of someone.
For barre set yourself up 2 people to a standing barre on the same side, edge of your mat under the barre.
Party before class, but once class starts: silence. Please respect the silence in the room, especially during savasana. No talking, moaning or loud noises during the class. This includes grunting, moaning or excessively loud breathing. This is our chance to relax and take a break from our busy schedules.
Please be scent-free: no perfumes, colognes, or heavily-scented lotions.
Stay until the end of class. It is important for your health and the energy of the group.
Be a good role model. Practice your stillness and discipline between the poses during the hatha classes. Notice if you are in front of a beginner. They will follow you.
Leave no trace. Please deposit trash, recycling, mats and towels in their proper place. Bring home your clothes, water bottles and equipment. Wipe up large puddles of sweat with a towel.
Follow along with the teacher. Try your best in each posture, and listen to your body. If you think you can’t do a posture, set it up or sit it out (sitting in a kneeling position is best, but lay down. If you need to) Please reserve addition postures or posture from other disciplines until after final savasana.
-
Keep showers to 5 minutes.
Please limit your stay after class to no longer than 20-30 minutes. The instructors need to leave at that time.
Enjoy yourself! This is a life-changing practice. It is challenging, important and, for many sacred, but can also be a lot of fun!
